REAR EXTENSION
WALLER ROAD, TELEGRAPH HILL, LONDON
At Waller Road in Telegraph Hill, South East London, Wellstudio designed a light, spacious rear extension for a family of doctors with two daughters in their early twenties which replanned the original small dark and poky family kitchen and dining area and dramatically improved it for wellbeing, creating more space, allowing for a larger dining table and creating a new relaxation and sitting area adjacent to the garden.
Wellstudio's design creates a much greater connection between the family and the surrounding aspects of nature; views of the sky and changing weather conditions through the three new rooflights, views of the garden and its green plant life through the new bi folding aluminium doors, angled side window and by incorporation of a step down to rear garden level in combination with the fully opening bi fold doors, the physical connection and embracement of the garden.
The project was completed on time and budget and to a high level of client satisfaction.
